ACTUALLY HIRED

So many jobs. So few hires.ActuallyHired.com

What to watch for

Four signs worth logging when you spot them. One sign proves nothing. Thousands of logs, added up, start to.

A made-up example job ad from Totally Hiring Inc. for a "Rockstar Associate, Immediate Start", with four numbered signs, stamped in red: made-up example, not a real job.
  1. 1Posted 400 days agoand still "urgent".
  2. 2No pay listed"Competitive" is not a number.
  3. 3"Always accepting applications"No closing date, and maybe no opening.
  4. 4Same ad in 30 citiesWord for word, same day.

Totally Hiring Inc. does not exist. The ad is invented to show the signs, and the label is part of the picture.

Why these signs

None of them proves anything about one ad. Plenty of real employers forget to list pay, or keep an ad up for a role they fill often. That is why we never judge an ad; we count.

When many members log the same ad as still up after months, or seen again as new every few weeks, the numbers say something a single ad cannot. Readers draw their own conclusions.

Seen one?

Log the posting: the employer, the title, and the facts you can see. Later, anyone who sees it again can say it is still up, or that it came back as new.
